ICEJ Australia held their 6th annual Hebrew Roots School in Nambour on Queensland's Sunshine Coast the 12th to 14th June.
The School hosted some 150 participants, from Tasmania, Victoria, South Australia, ACT and New South Wales and the Northern Territory. All enjoyed a feast of fellowship, music and dance, and were challenged by the messages brought by the speakers, and also from the DVD's of the work of the ICEJ in Israel.
Lawrence Hirsch from “Celebrate Messiah” in Melbourne was the key-note speaker and was warmly received as he spoke on numerous topics which reinforced the Hebrew foundations of the Bible, including the Jewishness of Jesus, Sabbath Rest, Gentiles and The Law, the 'fringes' of the Prayer Shawl and Lessons from the life of 'Rabbi' Nicodemus. Lawrence also shared his heart for the Russian Jews, and Louise won the hearts of many with her tenderness and lively dancing.
Other speakers during the weekend were Jesma O'Hara, Gerald Rowlands, Joel Baker, Noel Mann, Peter Roberts and Bruce Garbutt.
Copies of all messages are available on CD's and can be ordered direct from the ICEJ Australian Office or from our online Bookshop
